Abstract: This work deals with the increase in mechanical and utility properties of diamond grinding wheel with controlled porosity prepared by the sintering along the diamond grain boundary using binder material based on Cu-Sn-Ti alloy with subsequent hot isostatic pressing (HIP). The structure of diamond grinding wheel contained after sintering a large proportion of open porosity (35 to 39 %), which ensures a very good supply of coolant to the grinding point and at the same time removes the ground material from the grinding point.
