On Thursday afternoon took place the accompanying program, which included the Cruise ship on the Brno dam and the visit of the Brno technical museum or Villa Tugendhat. The participants of this accompanying program were greatly appreciated.

The first day was held in Voronez I Social evening with wine tasting of South Moravia Restaurant with accompanied by dulcimer music. The following evening took place at Moravska chalupa Beer party with grilling piglets.

Supplementing the excellent technical support in the conference halls of symposia, food services, accommodation in the hotel or nearby, determines the location for the year 2015 as the best.

In the poster session was more than 220 posters were also represented in proportion to the number of papers at various symposia. Conference organizer TANGER Ltd. based on the evaluation of chairmen of symposia announced five honorable mentions and another 3 prizes including practical gifts. The poster session of the conference was also considered very successful.

Abstract: The work deals with fractal response study of root of the TH29 profile from carbon steel micro-alloyed with vanadium (0.12 %), niobium (0.04%) and nitrogen (0.012 %) designated for mine supports. The profile was evaluated both after hot rolling and after subsequent straightening that showed different impact energy values, even when the feature of fracture surfaces did not differ significantly. Abstract: The corrosion resistance of three grades of valve steels (X33CrNiMn23-8, X50CrMnNiNbN21-9, X53CrMnNiN20-8) in combustion gases of propane-butane (LPG) under thermal shock conditions has been studied. It was stated that X33CrNiMn23-8 steel, containing highest concentration of chromium and nickel and also the lowest of manganese concentration, showed the best corrosion resistance in comparison to another tested steels. Abstract: The project MPO FR-TI3/458 "Material solutions for industrial equipment working with ultra-preheated steam", is focused on the assessment and prediction of long-term creep life of heterogeneous and homogeneous weld joints of the selected materials that can be used for superheaters and re-heaters of newly built or refurbished power plant boilers. The acquisition of detailed and reliable information, especially about the behaviour of weld joints exposed to high temperatures and pressure during long-term operation is of vital importance. Abstract: In recent years, the intensive research work has been carried out on the development of heat treatment which allowed obtaining carbide-free microstructures with retained austenite. These include the quenching with isothermal annealing (austempering) leading to obtain a nanocrystalline bainite [1,2] and Quenching&Partitioning (Q&P) [3] leading to obtain a microstructure composed of carbon-depleted martensitic matrix and carbon-enriched retained austenite.
