36. ročník konference o teorii a praxi výroby a zpracování oceli

The 36th traditional steel conference on the theory and practice of steel production and processing took place in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm at the HORAL Hotel on 5-6 May 2022. In total, 99 participants listened to 19 lectures.
The conference was opened with an introductory speech by Prof. Ing. Markéta Tkadlečková, Ph.D., conference guarantor and professor at the Faculty of Materials Technology, VŠB-TU Ostrava, together with Prof. Ing. Jozef Vlček, Ph.D., Vice Dean for Cooperation with Industry at VŠB-TU Ostrava and Professor of the Department of Thermal Engineering at VŠB-TU Ostrava. Immediately after the introduction, a minute of silence was dedicated to the memory of Assoc. Prof. Ing. Václav Kafka, who organized the conference Oceláři for years. The opening lecture Hutnické listy, the present and the future was given by Ing. Jaroslav Pindor, Ph.D.
