Open Access Conference Proceedings

The 30^th anniversary edition of the traditional steel conference Theory and Practice of Steel Production and Processing took place in Karlova Studánka on 3 - 4 April 2014, The conference was opened with a speech and a commemorative lecture by Ing. Jaromír Kupka, former conference manager. A total of 72 participants were registered for the conference. The conference was attended mostly by people from companies and research institutes. University students were also represented among the participants. The national composition of this year's conference: 62 participants from the Czech Republic, 7 from Slovakia, 2 from Poland and 1 from Germany. 21 lectures were presented. The social evening was held on 3 April at the Libuše Spa House.
